I have known about the Law of Attraction for quite some time now. For the last two years, it is something that I have been trying to implement into my daily life, but I just haven’t been able to quite grasp the full effects of it.
In case you don’t know what it is, the Law of Attraction is the belief that positive or negative thoughts bring positive or negative experiences into a person’s life.
How The Law of Attraction Has Improved My Life
When I first heard about it, I was skeptical. It almost seemed like magic, and I am not somebody who really believes in magic. I mean, how could our thoughts dictate what experiences occur in our lives? How could our minds determine whether or not the experiences in our lives are either positive or negative?
Then I started slowly implementing the Law of Attraction into my life, or at least I thought I was. I started to notice slight changes, but I still never felt or experienced the many drastic benefits that I heard so many others talking about.
Sure, I found myself in a more positive state of mind, but I never felt as though I was actually attracting anything “special” into my life. I wanted to feel the drastic change that others were attracting. I wanted my reality to be exactly how I was hoping it would be.
While I thought I was using the Law of Attraction correctly, the truth of the matter is that there is so much more to it than what I was doing.
Most people are going to disregard this all together, and that’s alright. But if you want the Law of Attraction to work for you, then pay attention.
I didn’t believe in the Law of Attraction for much of my life. Instead, I just hoped, prayed, and tried to create the life for myself that I dreamed of living.
But that’s why it wasn’t working. While it’s good to hope, pray, and try, the Law of Attraction is much more than simply hoping, praying, and trying.
It wasn’t until I dug deeper into the Law of Attraction that I realized I was doing it all wrong. I wasn’t truly believing, feeling, or envisioning myself having already achieved the life that I had hoped for.
How to Get The Law of Attraction to Actually Work
If you are wanting to completely change your life and actually start achieving the things that you hope for, pray for, and try to achieve, then this is for you. This is why the Law of Attraction isn’t working for you… at least not yet.
The Law of Attraction isn’t about just hoping, praying, and wishing for your reality to change. It’s about envisioning, believing, and feeling a sense of already having achieved your goals and desires.
What does this mean for you though?
This means that if you want the Law of Attraction to work for you, then you need to envision yourself having already achieved the life in which you are seeking. You need to see yourself already in possession of everything that you want. Once you envision yourself in possession of your wants, then you will start attracting them.
Take freedom and happiness for example. So many of us want more freedom and happiness in life. We want to be able to do the things that we desire whenever we want to do them. We want to have more money to our names so that we aren’t living paycheck to paycheck. We want to be able to live each day without feeling the struggles and burdens that we are currently experiencing.
Why The Law of Attraction Isn’t Working For You
The Law of Attraction doesn’t mean that you don’t recognize problems in life. The Law of Attraction simply means that you recognize the problems that you experiencing, but instead of continuing to focus on the negatives, you envision yourself having already overcome these problems.
The negatives in life that so many of us continue to focus on are only going to remain negatives if we allow them to. Similar to as Henry Ford once said “Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right,” you will only attract the things in life that you actually believe you are deserving of.
Money is going to remain a constant issue in your life only if you continue to fear it and worry where your next sum is going to come from. The struggles and burdens that you are trying to avoid are going to remain struggles and burdens only if you continue to think about them.
How do you fix this? How do you start achieving the life that you desire yourself living? By envisioning your life having overcome the struggles and burdens you feel.
You have to be intentional about what you want in life. If you can’t picture yourself achieving the things that you want and actually living the life that you desire, then your wants and desires simply aren’t going to come to fruition.
You have to want to achieve the life that you envision for yourself.
You have to believe that you are capable of living the life that you dream of living.
You have to envision yourself already living the life you want and having the things that you desire the most.
The more you envision yourself living the life in which you want for yourself and having the things that you most desire, the more you will start to attract them. If you don’t envision yourself living that life though, it is only going to remain a distant dream.
That’s just how the Law of Attraction works.
Before You Go
The more you allow worry and fear to consume your thoughts, the more distant you become from having all that you desire. But when you envision yourself already having the life that you desire, that’s when you will start to achieve it.
The point is, think about all that you want and already envision yourself having it. It may seem slightly arrogant at first, but when you do this, you will be one step closer to living the life that you have always dreamed of living, and it’s all because of the power of the Law of Attraction.
