Setting Powerful Intentions In Your Daily Life
The start to every dream comes from setting powerful intentions. Setting powerful intentions gives us the why behind our intentions, the motivation that we need to keep pursuing our dreams, and to strength that we need to make our dreams a reality.
Intentions can realistically be general or very specific. It can include anything from financial, to physical, or even to health. Seriously, the list is endless. It just depends on what matters to you in life.
But before you set your intentions, ask yourself some questions. What is it that you are setting an intention for? Why are you wanting to set that intention?
See, if we do not take our intentions seriously, or if we think that we might forget about them in a few weeks, then we are simply wasting our time. We are wasting our time on things that we don’t truthfully care about instead of focusing on ideas that we actually care about.
If your intention is to embrace your dreams and give them everything that you have, then setting powerful intentions is important. Here are some tips that you should consider when setting your intentions.
- What does it mean to you?
Like I said earlier, if you are setting your intentions for something that you are truly not interested in, you are going to be wasting your time. Find whatever it is in life that you are truly passionate about, and invest yourself towards your dreams.
We all have a powerful mind-let it run wild and free. Don’t put a limit on your beliefs. Believe in your wildest dreams, and pursue them with all of your undivided attention. When we truly believe, we can truly achieve.
- Be specific.
Only you know what you truly want in life. Be as specific as possible. If you want to start a business, have a date that you want it operating by. If you want to buy a car, be specific on what type of car you want to buy.
When we focus our attention on specific beliefs, our vision becomes clear. Where do you want to be? When do you want to get there by? All of these are examples of how to be specific. We are more inclined to manifest our dreams when our intentions are specified.
- Make sure your intentions are achievable and believable, but don’t forget to dream.
Yes, I did say to let your mind run wild and free, but you actually have to believe that you can achieve your dreams. While it is good to set high expectations, make sure they are reasonable. If we set intentions towards unrealistic goals, we can feel defeated when we are not seeing the success that we want.
Personally, my intentions are to blog every day for 365 days to spread positivity and motivation. While it is not easy to blog on a daily basis, it is something that I actually envision myself completing. I believe in myself and I believe in my abilities.
- Who are you setting your intentions for?
Are you setting your intentions for yourself, or for approval of others? Setting powerful intentions should not be focused on the acceptance or approval of others. Also, we should not be trying to control others with our own intentions.
When setting our own intentions, it is important to make sure that we focus on our individual beliefs. What is it that you want to create? What is it that you are wanting to do for the well-being of others? Focus on you, focus on your dreams, and embrace the attributes that make you unique.
- Put in the effort
Let go of the fear that is holding you back and follow your dreams. Unless we take action and put in the effort that is required to manifest our dreams, we are going to be living a life wondering what might have been instead of what is.
If what we are currently doing is not getting us closer to manifesting our dreams, then change. Even if it is a small change, it might lead to a big outcome. Never stop believing in your abilities, and never stop chasing your dreams.
When setting your intentions, set them for not only yourself, but also for the world around you. Celebrate the blessings that you have been provided with in life and never lose sight of your intentions. Live your damn life and live it to the fullest!
