It’s crazy to think that I have been blogging daily for more than 2 years straight. What’s even more crazy to think about is the fact that this blog just reached 200,000 pageviews. That’s right, this blog, our blog, has reached 200,000 pageviews.
I started out on this journey two years ago in hopes of sharing my thoughts to inspire one person out there. In going through a deep and dark time of my life, I felt as though I had a purpose in life of not only digging myself out of the hole that I was in, but also helping others who were experiencing the same challenges I was.
I wanted to use this blog as a way to share insight and tips of other successful individuals – tips that we can all implement in our own lives to hopefully find the success, happiness, and the life we have always had the desire of living.
To say that this has been a journey would be an understatement. There have been, are, and will continue to be days where I don’t necessarily feel like blogging, but thanks to my OCD mindset, missing a day simply isn’t an option for me.
I am grateful for this mindset. The never-ending desire to want a better life for myself is what has helped get me to this point. Today, I am easily living what I refer to as my best life, and it’s largely due to the “never give up” mentality I have adopted over the years.
This doesn’t mean my life is perfect or that I have achieved all that I hope to achieve. Just like everybody else out there, I still have good and bad days, I still have good and bad thoughts, and I sometimes still find myself questioning if I am truly capable of achieving the goals and desires I have for myself.
Our blog isn’t about being perfect or having the best life in comparison to those around us. Our blog is about hope. It’s about doing everything in our power to live our best life, to achieve the goals and the dreams we have for ourselves, and recognizing that this truly is our one shot at life. Every second that passes by is a mere moment in life that we are never going to get back. That’s why our blog is about helping every single person out there live the life that they are deserving of.
200,000 pageviews is such a big accomplishment. It’s twice as much as 100,000 and a fifth of 1 million. To me, words simply can’t describe how grateful I am to have potentially impacted 200,000 people’s lives in a positive way.
When I think about 200,000 pageviews, I try to put it into context as to just how big of a number that truly is. In growing up in a town of 10,000 people, I think of it as my entire town reading my blog 200 times.
I just don’t really know what else to say. I am simply speechless in seeing how many lives have potentially been impacted through reading the words I type. This is long overdue, but I guess what I am trying to say to you is THANK YOU!
What Comes Next
While I am beyond grateful for 200,000 visitors to our blog, it’s only a start. There are so many more lives out there to impact. Now, you might be thinking to yourself that 200,000 pageviews over 2 years isn’t a lot. For some, it might not be, but it’s also not the reason why I started this blog.
I don’t plan on stopping any time soon because I want everybody to see that dreams take time to come to fruition. We often get so caught up in the final outcome of our goals that we forget to enjoy the milestones along the way. That’s what I want to do differently.
Everybody has different dreams and everybody’s dreams are going to take different lengths of time to achieve. My purpose with our blog is to show you that it doesn’t matter how long it takes you to achieve your dreams, as long as you never give up on yourself or on your dreams, you will eventually achieve them.
How long it may take isn’t for you to decide as time is just a measurement that isn’t for you to determine. The only things you should be concerned about to ensure that you will successfully achieve your goals and achieve your dreams are your actions moving forward and your willpower to live your best life each and every single day.
Before You Go
Whether this is your first time reading this blog, your tenth, your hundredth, or if you have been following along from the very beginning, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for giving me the strength and encouragement to better my life so that I can do my part and help to better the lives of other individuals who may need a little boost of encouragement as well.
This just isn’t my blog – this is our blog. We have all built this from the ground up and will continue to do the same every single day just as long as we are still inspiring change in those who could use a helping hand.
I am so grateful you have followed along thus far and hope you continue on this never-ending journey of positively changing the world!
With my deepest gratitude,
