I was in a leadership meeting at work yesterday when the Law of Attraction got brought up.

During the meeting, we were talking about building relationships with potential “learners” as we like to call any new prospect and how we were truly staying connected with our learners during this challenging time.

Throughout the first half of the meeting, I didn’t say a word. It seems counter-productive to not speak, especially if you are somebody who is trying to become a leader. I don’t know why, but I just simply didn’t feel like talking.

As we were all on a video conference call, I just stayed silent. Not a single word had left my mouth. Then, halfway through the meeting, I got a text message from my manager who knows how big I am into the Law of Attraction and how I am trying to maintain relationships with my learners during this time.

It was a one-word text message that said: “SPEAK.”

At this point, I knew I had no choice. As soon as I read that, it was like a fire was lit underneath me and I ended up speaking for 15 minutes straight.

When I speak, I tend to get easily excited. I start speaking too quickly, stumble over my words, and then have the long/awkward pauses as I try to articulate my thoughts into words.

But this time, it was different. I felt as though the words flowed right out of me without any confusion. For the entire time that I spoke, I talked about the Law of Attraction and how I am implementing it into my work.

Being Open About Your Beliefs

My job is to get to know people on a personal level, and then help guide them in a direction that is going to help them achieve their goals. Sometimes, however, I find myself simply going through a list of questions almost as if I am interrogating them trying to find an answer.

The truth is, nobody is going to open up to you if you don’t first open up to them. Why would somebody tell me what they are passionate about or why they want to do something when I haven’t given them a reason to? To them, I am just another stranger.

One thing that I have started to do recently is to publicize my belief in the Law of Attraction with the people that I talk to. Not only does it build personal repour, but it also helps to give context as to why I am asking them the questions that I am.

As I get to know them, I tell them: “Hey, I am somebody who is big into the Law of Attraction. I believe that when we put our goals out there, not only do we attract them, but there is also a sense of power that we gain when we hear our own voice speaking our dreams. Would you mind just telling me what that dream looks like for you? What does that dream day look like for you?

At first, some people probably think I am out of my damn mind. But as they start to speak, I begin to hear the confidence in their voice, almost as if they too are feeling the power of speaking their words.

You would be surprised as to how many 30-minute conversations I have had where I feel as if I know more about that individual than I do about some of my closest friends. Once we take the time to open up and let our beliefs out there, that’s when they start coming true.

How I Use The Law of Attraction To Attract What I Want In Life

So why am I sharing this with you? You probably don’t care about my professional relationships or why I believe in the Law of Attraction.

Well, I wanted to share this with you because I wanted to give you context as to why we should all share the dreams that we have for ourselves. It does us no good to internalize and keep our dreams a secret. Let that shit out! Make them known, make them public, and help the Universe direct them towards you.

In case you need an extra boost of motivation, let me help. Here are some ways to use the Law of Attraction, or at least ways that I am implementing it into my life.

1. Happiness

This is probably the biggest area of my life where I use the Law of Attraction. As somebody who spent a lot of their younger years in a negative mindset, I don’t ever want to go back to that mindset. I want to do everything that I can to make each and every day better than the previous one.

One way that I do this is by envisioning my happiness. It may seem strange, but every morning as I write down what I am grateful for, I also close my eyes and envision how I want my day to look like and the emotions that I want to feel. Not only does that help to put me in a positive mood in that moment, but it also helps me to carry a positive mindset throughout the rest of my day.

2. Relationships

Relationships have never come easy to me. I don’t know what it is, but I have a difficult time opening up and talking to people that I don’t know. Once I do get to know somebody I don’t shut up, but it’s that initial conversation that I have a hard time with.

The Law of Attraction is something that has helped me with my relationships. No just to mend ones that I have broken in the past, but also with new ones. I will tell myself that I am deserving of good relationships, that I am bright, that I am kind, and that I am willing to let go of all of my negative beliefs.

In doing so, I immediately begin to smile and feel a wave of confidence fall over me. Goosebumps cover my body as I embrace and fully believe everything that I am saying. It’s done wonders not only for various relationships, but also for my confidence as well. Am I perfect? No. But I am getting better with every passing day.

3. Job Success

I am going to put it out there and say that I want to make a living writing and inspiring others. When that time comes, I don’t know, it’s not up for me to decide. But every morning as I write down my daily goals and reflect on past days, I envision my success and how I want that to look.

As professionals, we expect others to believe in us. Whether it’s expecting your boss to believe in your skills, your clients to believe in your abilities, or your teammates to believe in the work that you are doing. But you also have to believe in yourself. You have to believe that you are capable of success, that you are capable of taking your job to the next level, and that you have the skills to exceed all expectations. If you don’t believe that you are worthy of the success that you desire, how can you ever expect to achieve it?

4. Money

I think it’s safe to say that everybody wants more money, but how much do you believe in yourself? Do you believe that you deserve more money? Do you believe that you have the skills to make more money? How would more money impact your life? How much more money do you want to make?

These are all things that we need to ask ourselves and things that we need to envision. If you want more money, you have to believe that you deserve it and that you have the skills required to make more money. Not only that, but also envision how it will change your life and how much more you want to make in the first place.

I personally have a list of goals that I want to accomplish on a daily basis. After writing down my goals, I close my eyes, speak my goals into the Universe, and envision my dreams becoming my reality. I tell myself that I am accepting of more money, that I will be able to do more good with more money, and that I am letting go of all of my fears around money.

When I do so, not only do I feel this sense of freedom and liberty around money, but I also become more motivated to work towards my goals. As we all know, acting on our goals is the only way we will ever earn more money than we are currently making.

Before You Go

The Law of Attraction isn’t just about using affirmations and doing nothing. It’s about using affirmations and envisioning what those affirmations look like.

Don’t be scared to get clear on what it is that you want in life. Envision every detail, believe you are worthy of achieving every detail, and let every detail out into the Universe so that the Universe can help you shape it into existence.

When you get clear on every detail, you start to envision yourself having more until it almost becomes real. It needs to feel real if you ever want it to be real. So envision your dreams, speak your dreams, and let your dreams out into the world so that they can become your reality.
