I write this with a sad and heavy heart.

The day has finally come where I have finished Marie Forleo’s Everything Is Figureoutable.

I wish I could share with you how impactful, insightful, and inspiring this book truly is, but words simply won’t do justice. It is one that you MUST read on your own.

Everything Is Figureoutable Review

The main idea behind the book, obviously, is that everything in life is figureoutable. Whatever it is that you want to achieve in life, there is always a way to achieve it. From relationships to goals to happiness and success, there isn’t one problem that you are going to face in life that isn’t figureoutable.

To support this mentality, Forleo shares 9 steps (chapters) that will help you to figure out any obstacle in life. Along the way, she is going to share with you how she has used the very same techniques to help her solve the problems that she has endured.

Not only that, but to conclude each chapter, Forleo includes submitted stories from readers all over the world how they too have used this same approach to overcome various hurdles.

Step 1 – Your Road Map To Results

If you want to achieve all that you envision for yourself, then you need to be willing to do a few things first. You need to be willing to train your brain for growth, be willing to try new things before disregarding them, quit offending yourself, connect with others to help you grow in life, and above all else, you need to be willing to do the work. If you aren’t willing to work towards your dreams, they are never going to come true.

Step 2 – You Must Believe

What is it that you want to achieve? Seriously, ask yourself that. Don’t just say something because you think you need to. What is it that YOU want to achieve? Believe in yourself

Everything in life first starts with a belief. Every good song, every good movie, every skyscraper, every car that you see on the road, everything starts with a belief. Can you imagine life if people didn’t act on their beliefs? There would be nothing. So don’t be scared to believe in your dream. You never know, it may just change the world.

Step 3 – Eliminate Excuses

You are 100 percent responsible for your life. Every time that you say you can’t do something, it’s not because you can’t actually do it, it’s because you won’t.

Is it that you can’t get up and work out every morning, or that you won’t?

Is it that you can’t take that job across the country, or that you won’t?

Is it that you can’t follow your goals and dreams in life, or that you won’t?

Nobody ever said that life was going to be easy, but if you won’t at least give yourself a chance, then you’re right, you can’t.

Step 4 – Dealing With The Fear of Anything

Fear is not the enemy. Waiting to stop feeling afraid is. You can think about all of the times that you are going to fail or allow fear to stop you from living the life that you truly want to be living, but you are going to feel fear for as long as you are alive. Don’t let it steal your life.

The antidote to fear is action. Whatever dream, goal, desire, or belief you have locked away in your mind, act on it and release it because only then will it ever stand a chance of becoming your reality.

Step 5 – Define Your Dream

If you don’t know anything about Marie Forleo, she is one of the most successful self-improvement speakers on the planet. Not only that, but thanks to Everything Is Figureoutable, she is not a New York Times best selling author.

It wasn’t always this way, though. There was a time (the majority of her twenties) where she was living in a friend’s 400-square foot apartment in Manhattan working as a bartender and waitress by night so that she could start her coaching business during the day.

Think that’s easy? Absolutely not. But she defined her dream and knew what that dream looked like. She didn’t know when it was going to become her reality, but she wasn’t willing to give up until she found out. Because of that will and desire to define and achieve her dream, she is where she is now today.

The point is, know what you want. Paint that picture in your head and never give up on it for as long as you live.

Step 6 – Start Before You’re Ready

The best time to start something was yesterday. But given yesterday has come and gone, settle to make today work. If you wait until tomorrow, that’s only one extra day that it’s going to take you to turn your dream into your reality.

There is never a good time to start. There are always going to be obstacles and challenges that are going to stand in your way and try to hold you back, but they will only do so if you allow them to. As I said earlier, action is the antidote to fear. Take action on your goals and your dreams, jump into the uncertainty that is life no matter how much fear you are feeling, and push out of your comfort zone.

Step 7 – Progress Not Perfection

Forget about trying to be perfect. Perfection is something that none of us are ever going to be able to achieve. Even those who you look up the most aren’t perfect. No matter how skilled somebody might be, there is always room for progression and growth.

The only way you are going to learn and grow in life is by taking chances on yourself and allowing yourself to learn from your mistakes.

Progress puts you into a productive mindset. When you focus on progressing, the stress and burden of trying to be perfect are lifted. You will accomplish more because you will be giving yourself the freedom to learn.

Step 8 – Refuse To Be Refused

There are always going to be people who tell you what you can and can’t achieve. They are going to tell you that you are not talented enough, that your dreams are too childish and immature, that you don’t have what it takes to make a difference, or that it’s already been done before.

Refuse to be refused. Be the person who refuses to give up despite what others are telling you. If you believe in your goals and dreams, then by all means, go after them with everything that you have.

Everything you love is despised by someone else. Don’t let the judgments and views of others hold you back from accomplishing all that you want to achieve. This is your one life. Stand for what YOU believe in, and work towards achieving the life that YOU want for yourself.

Step 9 – Remember That The World Needs Your Gift

Don’t be selfish and hold your gift from the world. You were put on this earth for a reason. You have a special gift that nobody else has, and the world needs that special gift.

Take me for example. I am somebody who writes about self-improvement. While I love writing about self-improvement, there are hundreds of thousands of others who are writing about the same topics that I am.

But they don’t have my voice. My voice is mine. I want to use it to help inspire others to live a better life, and unless I use my voice to do so, I will never be able to help others.

Yes, we are all different, and that’s the beauty of life. Be different! Embrace your differences and use your differences to help change the world in only the way that you can.

Why You NEED To Read This Book

Aside from all of the amazing insight throughout the entirety of this book, there are also Insight To Action Challenges at the end of each chapter to help you actually apply the skills that are taught.

Lastly, following the action challenges, you will also hear stories from people who have used the Everything Is Figureoutable mentality and how this way of thinking helped them to overcome the many various obstacles that they endured.

Final Thoughts

My words simply don’t do justice for how amazing this book is. I have sat here for quite a while trying to piece this all together, but the truth of the matter is that you just need to read it for yourself.

This book will change your thinking. This book will change your attitude towards life. More importantly, this book will help you to find the light that already glows from within, and how you can shine that light to live the life that you have always dreamt of living.

Please, do yourself a favor, and read this book!
