Become a Better Human Being
What is it that you are doing on a daily basis to become a better human being? I know that this might seem like a common question to ask, but seriously, think about it. Every single day that you roll out of bed, what are you doing to become a better human being? What is your motivation for getting out of bed in the morning?

I have been doing a lot of thinking in my life recently. What is it that I can do in my own life to become a better human? What is it that I can do to better not only my life, but also to better the lives of others around me?
After some deep thinking, here are some things that I cam up with. Here are 8 things that I believe will help me to become a better human being.
- Be 1% better than you were yesterday.
If you want to become a better human being, you need to focus on becoming 1% better each day. Don’t expect to achieve your dreams overnight. It simply won’t happen and it will leave you with little motivation because of how distant they seem. Instead, focus on becoming 1% better each day. Focus on the bigger picture, enjoying the process, and enjoying the pursuit of achieving your dreams.
- Be kind to others.
This is a pretty self-explanatory one. If you want to become a better human, you should focus on being more kind to others. Treat others how you would like to be treated. Be kind to others, because just like smiling, being kind is contagious. And lastly, be kind because it shows how strong you truly are. It is a lot harder to be kind to others than it is to treat others poorly.
- Help others grow in life.
If you want to make a greater impact, do whatever it is that you can do in life to help others grow. When you see people struggling, see what it is that you can do to help them. If you see people hurting, see what it is that you can do to help heal them. You can really help others just by letting them know that you are there to help catch them if they fall.
- Be grateful for what you have instead of complaining for what you don’t have.
Don’t focus on what you don’t have, but be blessed for what you do have. You have a roof over your head, food in your stomach, and the ability to manifest whatever dream it is that you can think of. These are all parts of life that 80% of the world does not have. So be grateful.
- Love yourself and your neighbors more.
Becoming a better human is not only about being better for those around you, but also being better for yourself. Be kind to yourself, forgive yourself for you mistakes, and love yourself for the beautiful person that you are. Treat yourself the way you want others to treat you. And love yourself the way you want others to love you. Once you love yourself, only then can you love others.
- Focus on legacy instead of currency.
Life is not about having the most money, or the fancy cars, or the biggest house. Life is about becoming the person that you want to be, chasing the dreams that you dreams, and being the happiest person that you can be. If you want to become a better human, focus on the legacy that you will leave when you die.
People are not going to remember you for the things that you had in life. But they will remember you for the impact that you made on the lives of others.
- Make a difference for the greater good of others.
Smile, laugh, love, and live. Hold the door open for others, smile at strangers, love your neighbors, and live your best life. If you do these, others will take notice, and others will follow. These are all things that will make a difference for the greater good of others.
- Forgive and forget.
You are going to do wrong, and others are going to do wrong. We are all human, and we all make more mistakes on a daily basis than we can count. You simply need to learn to forgive and forget. It will not do you any good to stress about things that have already happened. Instead of wasting energy on things that you can’t change, use that energy to change the world. Use that energy to become a better human.
So I am going to ask you again. What is it that you are doing to become better on a daily basis? Try to implement some of these suggestions in your daily life, and do whatever it is that you can do to become better each and every day.
