8 Ways To Achieve More Now Than Ever Before
If you clicked on this, it’s probably because you want to achieve more now than you ever have before, right? You want to be more successful, feel more accomplished, and live a better life than the one you are currently living.
Well, you’re not alone.
Most of us have the urge to achieve more now than ever before. We want to be more successful, achieve more of our goals, have more independence, and live with more freedom.
Let’s just put it this way, we want more of everything.
But how do you achieve more? How do you live up to the expectations that you have for yourself? Well, it isn’t by waiting for everything to be handed to you, that’s for sure. Instead, it’s by taking immediate action and getting started sooner rather than later.
Here are 8 tips that will help you to achieve more now than ever before.
1. Focus On Your Well-Being
First things first, you need to take care of both your body and mind.
We often get caught in the rush of trying to chase what our vision of success looks like that we forget to take proper care of ourselves. Basically, we think that we have to work ourselves to death if we want to achieve more.
Now, I’m not saying that hard work isn’t the answer, because it is, but you also need to focus on your well-being as well. Let your mind relax, exercise your body, and get some fresh air. Give yourself a 30-minute break to focus on your well-being.
2. Follow Your Dreams
If you want to achieve more, then you need to be sure that you are following your dreams. Not your parents’ dreams, not your friends’ dreams, but your own dreams. If you are not following your own dreams, then you are going to be more likely to give up at the first ounce of difficulty that you encounter.
3. Invest In Yourself
Investing doesn’t just mean with money. It also means both time and energy. If you want to achieve more, then you need to be willing to go all-in, invest in yourself with every resource that will help to benefit you, and commit to your goals.
“What’s the ONE thing you can do, such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?” – Gary Keller. Invest in yourself and do whatever you can do today to help set your future self up for success.
4. Prioritize What’s Important
What’s the first thing that you do when you wake up? Check your phone? Turn on the TV? Post to social media? Ask yourself something… what benefit do these things provide you?
If you want to be the most effective and achieve more, then you need to prioritize your most important tasks first thing in the morning when you have the most energy and when your thoughts are more clear. As the day goes on, you will only be dragged down by everybody else’s schedules and the odds of you completing any significant task will drastically decrease.
5. Create A Positive Environment
Clean your work area, hang uplifting and motivational reminders, create a space that is going to help you succeed. If it’s impossible to create a positive environment in the space that you have, then go somewhere you enjoy being. It might sound cheesy, but trust me, it works.
I used to hate working in my room. It was a mess and with things being tossed all over the place, I just felt overwhelmed whenever I would go in there.
It wasn’t until my sister cleaned my room for my birthday and organized everything that I actually enjoyed started being in my room. As bad as it sounds to admit that my sister cleaned my room, it’s the truth. And it was at that point I realized how crucial it is to have a space that is organized and decluttered.
See, if you are not in an environment that you don’t enjoy, then you are never going to reach your full potential. The more “garbage” that is around you, the more cloudy your thoughts are and the more overwhelmed you feel. And when you are trying to achieve more, those are two things you want to avoid.
6. Surround Yourself With Wiser People
We have all heard it by now, but once more couldn’t hurt. We are the average of the five people who we spend the most time with.
To achieve more, it will only help to surround yourself with those who have achieved more than you have. Not only will you learn from individuals who have achieved more, but you will also pick up on some habits that have helped those individuals get to where they are, and overall, you will feel more motivated to achieve more of your goals when you surround yourself with individuals who have achieved more than you have.
7. Cut Out Friends Who Don’t Support You
If you truly want to achieve more, then doesn’t it only make sense to surround yourself with people who are going to lift you up, people who are going to encourage you, and people who are going to motivate you instead of only bringing you down? Absolutely.
As harsh as it may seem, cut out friends who don’t support you and/or are only going to hold you back. If they are not going to help you get to where you want to be in life, then that shows they truly don’t care about you and what you want to get out of life.
Friendship isn’t a one-sided ordeal. You have to be there for friends and they have to be there for you. It needs to be mutual, and if it’s not, then that’s not a friendship worth having.
8. Never Give Up
Yes, you are going to experience difficulties and challenges. But no matter what, never give up on yourself. The moment you give up is the moment that everything you have ever worked for becomes a complete waste of time.
Instead, keep pushing with everything that you have. Take one step forward, and strive to be just 1% better than you were yesterday. If you can be 1% better every day, the amount of success that you can achieve over time will be endless.
No BS, these tips have helped to change my life. Each and every single day I do my absolute best to implement these tips into my life, and to be completely honest with you, they have played a large role in the astronomical improvement that I have made in my life.
If they worked for me, I know that they will do the same for you as well.
