What motivates me? What motivates me to write every single day? What motivates me to have shared my thoughts publicly on the internet for more than 800 consecutive days? What motivates me to never stop following what I believe in, and why is it something you should pay attention to?
Let’s just say I have big plans. Despite having been doing this for more than two years, I am only just getting started. I want to build a community where everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter what your gender, race, age, or religion is, I want to create a community where everybody knows they are welcomed and where they feel welcomed. I want to build a community that’s going to help others to live a great life. I want to help you master your life day by day.
How do you know if this will help you? Well, just pay attention to what my main focus is. I believe there are 8 pillars to living a great life – all of which I want to help you find.
8 Pillars To Living A Great Life
1. You have a right to be yourself.
The first of the eight pillars to living a great life is to be yourself. You don’t need the permission of others in order to do the things you want to do in life or to live a great life. Forget what others think. This is your life to live – you’re one and only life to live. Take control of what’s yours and don’t let anybody else steal that from you. If you want something better for yourself, go out there and get it!
I want to help you find the strength and courage to do so. I know what it’s like to live a life controlled by the opinions of others. It’s hard to overcome those opinions and it’s something that I still deal with on a daily basis. But together, we will take back what’s ours and live our best life yet.
2. It doesn’t matter where you’re at, it just matters that you get started.
Never compare your beginning to the ending of those around you. It doesn’t matter where you are starting or how far behind in life you feel. All that matters is that you keep sight of the goals you have for yourself, focus on those goals each and every single day, and never stop pursuing those goals until they become your reality.
I personally believe you can do or be whatever you want to be in life regardless of your age, where you are at, or the circumstances you are currently experiencing. No, it’s not going to be easy, but nothing worth having comes easy and nothing that comes easy is worth having. Remember that!
3. You need to take care of yourself first and others second.
Some might think this is a selfish way to look at life, but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. If you want to be your best for others and the world around you, you first need to be your best for you. If you are not at your best personally, you are never going to be able to give your best to those around you.
I am a firm believer that you need to be your own number one priority. This means putting yourself before others, your wants before the wants of others, and the goals you have for yourself before the goals of others. Doing so will help you to become the best version of yourself so that you can ultimately be the best version of you for the world around you
4. Realize that life is a long-term game, not a short-term gain.
We often go through life wanting everything handed to us on a silver platter or we want something immediately. Hey, I am guilty of it as well. But life doesn’t work that way. We all need to realize that if we want to achieve anything meaningful over the course of our lives, it’s going to take some time.
You can look at the most successful individuals in the world, whether that be business owners, athletes, or your favorite artists. None of them had overnight success. While it may seem that way for some, there were many long days and sleepless nights of work that nobody saw to get to where they are today.
I want to help show you that the road to success is going to look different for everybody, but as long as you keep doing your part to move forward, you will eventually find it.
5. If you do good, you will receive good.
When you do good for others, others will tend to do good for you. Not only that, but you also feel better about yourself and self-confidence is a staple to any and all success.
When you act with kindness, the world responds with kindness. When you act with gratitude, the world gives more to be grateful for. When you act with abundance, the world delivers more.
Have you ever heard the saying: “What goes around comes around?” Make sure what goes is good because it’s only going to come back around to you however you send it out.
6. We can all be successful.
There is room at the top for everybody. Life is abundant. It doesn’t favor anybody more than others. God and life itself don’t care if you are male or female, black or white, rich or poor. There is room at the top for everybody.
I want to help you get to the top because I believe that we are better together. We can’t single-handily change the world, but when we come together as one, there isn’t anything that we can’t do.
7. To get to where you want to be, you need to overcome your fears.
The best time to get started is right now! You are never going to completely feel comfortable in chasing any goal or dream. But nobody ever is. There are always going to be thoughts of what could go wrong or what might happen, but the truth of that matter is that until you are at least willing to give yourself a chance, you are never going to know.
Everybody experiences uncertainty and deals with fear. But only once you learn to meet those fears and uncertainties head-on will you then find your true potential.
Together, we are both going to work to overcome our fears and uncertainties. Dears are nothing more than limiting beliefs. Very rarely do they ever pan out the way we envision they will.
8. Know that I believe in YOU!
Lastly, through all of the doubt that you may feel, just know that somebody believes in you. That somebody is me. No, life isn’t always going to be perfect, but perfection is just an illusion anyhow. I want to help you transform your life, to transform your mentality, and to start living your best life yet because you deserve nothing less!
You may feel alone. You may feel stranded and hopeless. You may even feel as though life isn’t worth living. The truth is, it is. The difference between having a bad life and living a great life can be as simple as a simple mindset adjustment or as large as a personal transformation. Regardless, we are in this together and won’t stop until both of us have achieved everything we set out to.
Before You Go
If this sounds good to you, I strongly encourage you to follow along. As I said earlier, we are better together. These pillars to living a great life will help you to hold yourself so that you can start making the most out of the one life you are blessed enough to have.
